Great place for Korean bbq. Prices are very reasonable and pretty fast service! Definitely keep going back every other week!

I had such a great experience eating ayce kbbq here! First of all, shoutout to our server, Jason, who treated us so well. He was very attentive, changing the grill before we asked and checking in with us a lot. The service here really made this experience 5 stars. Of course, the food was also amazing. You can choose from so many items for the basic ayce price of $31 and it was very worth it. I really liked the galbi, it was so tender and marinated really well. Other meats I enjoyed were the beef belly, brisket, and the bulgogi. We kept going back to the galbi though - definitely try that! This place is super popular as expected due to the great environment and food, so make sure to get here early to beat the line! I will be back!

This is the popping KBBQ joint. Over at George Bush and old Denton is a large Korean section of stores, restaurants, etc. There is no shortage of KBBQ restaurants here as they are side by side all around the area competing for the same business. Despite this and many struggling to fill up, GEN is always jam packed with people and is probably also the largest of them all. Good luck coming here on a Friday or Saturday night and not having a 1-2 hour wait. So why 5 stars? Well it has this crowd for a reason. The food is stellar and there are more options here than any of the other places I've visited nearby. The inside of the building is a really cool vibe that feels more modern and upbeat compared to many of their competitors that are simpler in design. Overall if you want a hip place with solid kbbq or a place to take a large group of friends, this is a fantastic place to go. Just make sure you get on the wait list early and go enjoy walking around a bit.

Top tier all you can eat kbbq. I always go here and it never fails. The waiter was super polite and assisted us very well and kept being helpful. I love how the restaurant makes you feel secluded and private even though it is always packed. The restaurant keeps everyone nicely separated and gives everyone a good sense of privacy. Truly love this place and recommend everyone try it!

Really enjoyed Gen KBBQ! The meats were fresh and tasty. Some of my favorites were the LA galbi and garlic samgyupsal. Our server was on top of things, changing the grill plate often, checking in on us frequently, and getting our food quickly. Fast service overall. Would definitely recommend as one of the top Korean BBQ spots I've been to.

I don't come here often but when I do I always enjoy myself. The food is great and plentiful just be aware that you'll need to "preorder" your meats in advance... not doing so can result in a lengthy wait. This place is on the "trendy" side with modern decor and dim lighting. It's great for groups and gatherings. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Went here for lunch as I was craving pork bulgogi and it didn't disappoint. The meats were exceptionally well-marinated. Ofc the standout for me was the spicy pork bulgogi, which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. Also the second fav was fish katsu. Additionally, we tried the Hawaiian bacon, spicy pork riblets, kfc chicken, deep fried mandu. Overall, the quality of the food was top-notch. The sides were all delicious. The only thing I wouldn't try again was the Hotteok which is Korean sweet pancake, just personal preference. Also the drink I ordered was meh so maybe would order something else next time! It didn't satisfy my sweet tooth. But yea definitely will go again whenever I'm craving Korean BBQ!

This place was absolutely great, we arrived on a busy Friday night and there was a line of people waiting so I assumed it would be good. We got seated fairly quickly and set up at our station with our sever arriving shortly after that super nice and friendly. The place was really big, blue lights on the tall sealing, gave it a really cool futuristic effect, the lights were dimmed but bright in the center of each cooking station. The menu had a LOT of options, and I even asked our waiter for some recommendations. Everything we ordered was absolutely delish. Several waiters came to our table to clean the pots and I was surprised how many times they we switch us the pans and stuff so it made me very happy because they kept it clean for us to continue using and the staff in general seemed to work very well in teams to make sure we were very well taken care of. They also had a huge drink menu with lots of fun things and even some non-alcoholic stuff which always is a win for me. I enjoyed the ambient, the food and staff, the prices were reasonable but honestly, even if it was pricey, it would be worth every penny. Will deff be adding this to one of my fav Korean BBQ places.
